Safeguarding is a fundamental priority at Hatfield Wick School. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where pupils’ welfare is protected at all times. 

All staff receive safeguarding training and operate in line with statutory guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education. 

Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Reporting Concerns

Safeguarding concerns can be reported directly to the school by contacting the DSL or a member of the senior leadership team. We work closely with external agencies where required. 

Online Safety

We promote safe and responsible use of technology through: 

- Supervised and filtered access 
- Clear acceptable use policies 
- Education on digital safety and wellbeing 

Safeguarding procedures are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain robust and effective.
