Who We Are For
Hatfield Wick School is suitable for pupils who require a highly personalised, low‑arousal, relationally‑led educational environment.
Typically, pupils may: - Be neurodivergent (including autism, ADHD, or related profiles) - Experience social, emotional, or mental health needs - Have a history of school anxiety, emotionally based school avoidance, or disrupted education - Require integrated therapeutic and educational support - Benefit from small group sizes, predictable routines, and consistent adult relationships
What the school can offer
Small cohorts with high staff‑to‑pupil ratios
- An integrated education and therapeutic model guided by CARES360®
- A structured, emotionally safe environment
- Individualised learning pathways aligned to statutory requirements
- Strong transition and reintegration support
What the school cannot offer
Large‑scale provision or mainstream‑style environments
- Short‑term or crisis placements without planning
- Provision where needs cannot be met safely within our staffing, expertise, or site
- Admissions where the placement would not be in the child’s best interests
Honest conversations about suitability are central to our admissions approach.
